Seniors & Goshawks

A warm welcome to the Goshawks Senior's Section at Grange Over Sands Golf Club. With over 60 active members, there is always something going on to get involved with, from friendly matches against other clubs and weekly roll up golf to volunteering to help with work round the course. New members are always welcome.

In 2009 Eddy Edmondson brought together a small number of local teams for seniors friendly matches and the Goshawks programme has grown since.

Why Goshawks?
Being a keen bird watcher club member Eddy came up with the idea of a name that portrays a rare secretive and sexy bird of prey, fitting for our senior section. GOSHAWKS, Grange over Sands Hawks, fits the bill.

Aims of Goshawks
To provide friendly enjoyable and non-competitive golf for seniors on a regular basis throughout the
summer against other clubs in the surrounding area, all at an affordable price.

HISTORY & ELIGIBILITY
